About

Paul Jarvis has been playing bass for 35 years. He is most widely known for his bass playing in the heavy hitting rock band Scissorfight from New Hampshire, then in the fall of 2017, Paul began writing songs on the acoustic bass, focusing on the bass as a solo instrument. Once referred to as Johnny Cash meets Mark Sandman meets Les Claypool, Paul’s songs highlight the unique and lower tones of the bass combining chords and melodic bass lines with catchy vocals and storytelling lyrics. Paul has released a 6 song EP, 4 singles with accompanying videos as well as a 7-inch record featuring his song ‘Another Day’, and an original arrangement of Neil Young’s “The Needle and the Damage Done”. Paul plays regularly throughout New England, with a US tour in the works. Find more information at pauljarvismusic.com .
